WAANZINNIGE PLANNEN

Tijdens de afgelopen editie van het Natural Networking Festival gaf ik een workshop ‘Waanzinnige Plannen Realiseren’. In deze workshop zat sneldichter Pauline Meijwaard die tijdens (!) de workshop de inhoud samenvatte in een gedicht. Omdat er ook anderstaligen op het festival rondliepen, gaf ik de workshop in het Engels en schreef Pauline haar gedicht – voor het eerst in haar carrière – ook in het Engels. ‘s avonds droeg ze het voor een enthousiast publiek op de NNF editie van Stand-Up Inspiration! Amazing plans, an impossible project

Which every normal person should reject.

An idea, a title and a theme

But no publisher or money, only a dream.

Combining a story in a book on the shelves

With an online game children could play themselves.

The most important is to make a plan

And define the outcome as measurable as you can.

Take your responsibility and know what you want,

Without a deadline you definitely can’t.

Start with the outcome and visualize,

Then start to plan and to realize.

If you succeed in achieving the goal or not

Is not a judgment about yourself you’ve got.

It’s your project, but it’s not about you,

More important is what you actually do.

Sharing your goal and ask people to join,

But be careful to only talk for a coin.

A plan can succeed, fail or abandon

But before the miracle happens, don’t going to run.

If you want to succeed, just start today,

Don’t permit yourself any delay.

Be specific in what you need

And ask people to help and meet.

Leave the boundaries of what’s already been done,

Go where nobody ever has gone.

So realize your impossible dream no wand here

And take advantage of the NNF atmosphere.
